Policy

Staff at Amberley Medical Centre are trained to perform their jobs competently, safely, and with understanding of the rights and needs of patients. Training forms a key part of our induction and orientation process.

Our practice provides staff with all training needed to meet:

• legal requirements, e.g. health and safety
• RNZCGP requirements for practice accreditation, e.g. cultural competency training
• certification requirements for clinical staff, e.g. to perform specific procedures.

The practice manager maintains a schedule of staff training.

Training records are kept in the spreadsheet on P:\DATA\FINANCE\HR
